Day 1: Wild-camping in the Chiricahua Mountains, Arizona

Noah

Our campsite was nice and green and there is a lot of tall grass. There were a lot of hills. Some of the hills have bumps on them. Our dad made steaks and chilis and zucchini. Some of the chilis were spicy as a jalapeño and some were as mild as a tomato.

It was really fun sleeping in the trailer. Before that I did a crossword puzzle. Beetles and ladybugs and flies and ants got in the trailer somehow. The trailer is metal so predators can’t get in. Albie and our dad woke up me and my mum at six in the morning and we were very annoyed!

Our water that we’re drinking has bleach in it. We roasted marshmallows I made some marshmallow spread. It tasted like candy and was very warm as well.

I slept in the treehouse on wheels. It was very comfortable. My dad didn’t let me do a cross puzzle. The treehouse on wheels was too high for the predators, whereas the trailer was low.

This morning, Noah and I played ark survival. It’s where we have to survive from dinosaurs and build a camp and try to survive.
